Great local cafe! Wide selection of drinks, all day sandwiches, and pastries. Seating can be a bit tricky during peak hours on the weekends, free parking at the lot around the corner or down the road in a garage.

As a regular customer who’s had the chance to try nearly everything on the menu, I can confidently say this is one of the best cafés I’ve visited. What sets this place apart isn’t just the quality of the drinks and food, it’s the level of thought, care, and craftsmanship behind every item. You can genuinely tell that the owner has spent countless hours refining each recipe. Nothing feels rushed or generic; every flavor is intentional and beautifully balanced. The coffee is consistently excellent, with a smooth body, rich aroma, and remarkable depth of flavor. It’s the kind of coffee that’s easy to enjoy every day without ever becoming tiresome. The house-made syrups deserve special recognition. Rather than relying on an overly sweet or artificial taste, they offer a natural sweetness that complements the coffee instead of overpowering it. Everything tastes clean, refined, and thoughtfully composed. After so many visits, what continues to impress me is the consistency. Excellent service, food, and drink. Staff is personable and friendly. It’s always busy on weekends but worth the wait! They have partnered with a local bakery for some of the bread and pastries. It is absolutely relishes. My friends and I love coming here, especially during the school year. It’s about a 5 minute drive from George Mason on Main St. Cannot recommend enough!! The new pastries with the local bakery are the blueberry scone, lemon scone, cinnamon roll, and cheese danish. The cinnamon roll is my fav!

I visited De Clieu Coffee for breakfast and their options are limited for substitutions, so I wasn't able to order a non-pork protein, as they didn't have any alternatives. I ended up ordering an everything bagel with egg, cheese and a bit of guacamole but would have liked to order a protein for my bagel. I didn't order a latte this time but from what I heard, they were average. This location is very busy and lively but extremely crowded to the point where it's somewhat uncomfortable sitting at a table because people are constantly cramming in between tables and seats trying to get around as it's not a really well thought out layout for tables and seats to number of guests. Overall service was friendly and what I did end up ordering was okay in taste but I probably won't be visiting again. Thanks

My husband and I come here almost every weekend, and it has quickly become one of our favorite café spots. The drinks are so good that I honestly never get tired of them. Our current favorites are the Maker’s Mark Latte and the Dirty Hippie—both are incredible and always something we look forward to. For food, the Super Club sandwich and the Egg & Cheese sandwich are our go-tos. Every time we say we might try something new… and then end up ordering the same things again because they’re just that good. Even when the café gets busy, it somehow never feels chaotic. It can be crowded, but we’ve never felt like we had to fight for a place to sit. The atmosphere is lively but not too loud, which makes it perfect for my husband and me to relax and enjoy our drinks and sandwiches. Part of me wants to keep this place as my own little secret spot… but at the same time I want everyone to know how amazing their drinks and food are. Also, don’t sleep on their seasonal menu—the tomato basil soup is absolutely on point.
